Its function is to give the tape pressure-sensitive adhesive properties. Due to its sufficient cohesive strength and elasticity, it is easy to handle and can be easily removed from surfaces without residue. It provides bonding and fixation for a wide range of materials, from optical, medical, automotive, and wood applications to general-purpose materials, and can replace double-sided tapes.
